Leasing Your Property
There are many reasons why a landowner may want to lease his/her land to be farmed!
-
Perhaps you want to see your land become productive and healthy
-
Start the process of successional planning and passing your land on to a good steward
-
It's an opportunity to give back to the local food system
-
Provides supplemental income
Whichever reason you choose, the NWNM New Farmer Network (NFN) understands that your property is precious and valuable, that's why the NFN takes a relationship-based, hands-on approach to guide you through the process and ensure that each agreement is tailor-fitted to your needs as the landowner. There are many things to consider when thinking about leasing your land to a farmer. In order to account for these considerations, we have developed the Landowner Enrollment Form for landowners to complete. This form will identify many of the questions that are important to consider. This form will also be used to match your needs with your ideal farmer, so be sure to include as much information as possible!
To enroll your property in the NWNM New Farmer Network, please fill out the Landowner Enrollment Form.
